Aloha Hawai’i!

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005

This past June my folks celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by flying their kids, kids-in-law, and grandkids out to Maui for a week of fun and sun. Needles Highway, Black Hills

Monday, August 8th, 2005

From the Badlands to the Black Hills. This was just above the Needles Highway in the heart of the Black Hills. You can see what they call the “Needle’s Eye” in the rock formation at right just above center. The day was cloudy and grey, but the Black Hills were still beautiful.

Lowenbrau Keller

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005

The Rocks is located on the shores of Sydney Harbour between the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The precinct offers history, dining, shopping, art and entertainment… including a taste of Germany. The Lowenbrau Keller is a German restaurant full of life and atmosphere with the largest selection of Bavarian beers and schnapps [...]
