I got this beautiful shot of a nyala head in the Imfolozi Game Reserve, Natal Province, South Africa. I think this animal is really beautiful. I think we were fortunate to see one so close, as I read that nyala are shy animals.
This is an impala that I managed to get in mid leap. Branches near the photographer obscure some of the animal, but I’m really happy with how this picture came out. We called them “McSnacks” because they are small (not a whole lot there for a hungry lion or leopard) and they sort [...]
Another zebra from our game drive in the Imfolozi Game Reserve. I never knew that the stripes went up into their manes! Some of these animals look so good I’d swear the park rangers go around and groom them every now and then.
